Synnøve Skarsbø Lindtner

Synnøve Skarsbø Lindtner has a PhD (2014) on the topic of feminist magazines. Since 2014 she has been a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Information Science and Media Studies, University of Bergen, where she is working on topics such as book history, gender, the public sphere and popular feminism. She has been involved in writing a history of the Norwegian Public Sphere, and articles on the history of the Norwegian weekly press and women’s magazines. In 2017 she received funding to carry out research on the public engagement and reception of the online teen serial Skam (Shame).
